Brush up your design skills to successfully communicate your science
The workshop teaches the convincing and targeted use of basic design elements (typography, image, colour) as well as the application of the most important principles of graphic design (proportion, alignment, negative space, hierarchy, etc.) in order to professionally present scientific content. These basics will help you to make your presentation slides, scientific posters, graphical abstracts or papers visually more convincing.
You will have the opportunity to put directly into practice what you have learned, to discuss and analyse your drafts, and to receive valuable feedback from group and trainer.
Please bring your laptops equipped with your preferential graphics software.
You are warmly invited to bring along previously designed examples and design tasks you are specifically interested in.
