Invited talk:

A talk which is given by an invited speaker who has great experience in her/his field and will share her/his knowledge in a topical session by a tutorial like talk including newest research  - Time frame: 45 + 15 min

It is planned that each PhD student contributes to the conference by either a scientific, technical talk or a poster.

Scientific talk:

A talk about your research and results, concentrating on explaining the underlying physics without spending too much time on technical issues of the used method - Time frame: 15 + 5 min

Technical talk:

A talk about the experimental/theoretical techniques or methods you are using. Should be close to a tutorial for the participants. Time frame: 15 + 5 min

Poster:

In case you will give neither a scientific nor a technical talk, two poster sessions are planned to give every participant a platform to present and discuss their current research.
The format of the posters should be: A0 size, portrait
